In 2024, Pearson Engineering was engaged to complete the biennial OSIM inspections for the Township of Georgian Bluffs’ bridge and culvert inventory. Visual inspections of each structure were carried out in accordance with the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual, documenting their condition, and identifying maintenance, repair, or replacement needs. The inspection results will be utilized by the Township to plan future work, prioritize projects, and develop realistic budgets through a 10-year capital works plan, ensuring structures remain safe and reliable for public use
