In 2024, Pearson Engineering was engaged by the County of Grey to complete the structural design of the new West Grey single-storey paramedic base located in Durham, ON. The building was constructed utilizing pre-engineered roof trusses, conventional sticked framed walls and cast-in-place concrete foundations. The building consists of two ambulance bays as well as offices, storage areas, washrooms, a reception area, kitchen, rest areas and change rooms. The structure was designed as a post disaster emergency response building in accordance with the Ontario Building Code.
